She currently serves as the Project Director at Distance Education for Africa (DeAfrica), where she leads the Africa’s Leading Ladies (ALL) community—an initiative that has positively impacted over 400,000 women across the continent by providing mentorship and scholarship opportunities. Her leadership in this program has garnered global recognition, helping to expand access to education and entrepreneurship resources for African women.
Dr. Palmer’s academic journey is as impressive as her professional career. She holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Change from Fielding Graduate University, where she conducted pioneering research on the behaviors and perceptions of university students in massive open online courses (MOOCs). Additionally, she has a Master’s degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from Stanford University, where she worked with luminary scholars in educational psychology and instructional design.
